I'm a little slow today. I just switched to Sanka. So...have a heart?

The Place. (Still not done, but almost.)
Subject to a few loose ends (Art behind the sofa that I have yet to pick up from the Framer, getting rid of my old big-ass TV, and getting my swivel chair, and getting carpet for the sofa area) here it is!
JB - Thanks! The place was already wired for everything (Except for one cable not running through the wall that you can see above the sofa... so Yeah, I didn't have to wire anything.
I need some MoMA thing to wrap the cord hanging from the projector...
B - Thanks! Yeah, it's what not having a child and not having a pet looks like.
Laura - It's been a long, painful haul to get it to where it is now. :) And it's not done. The wooden water skis are purely decorational. I got them in a filthy, dingy antique store in North Miami - they looked frightful, but a little water and some rags cleaned 'em right up!
Manola - Thank youuuuuu! :) I know, I was thinking about that when I found out you moved off the beach. I figured between your health issues and my crazypants issues the cosmos lined up to star-cross that idea.
RT - Thanks! :) Yes, you can say, "Hip." I also like the big-assed print on the wall. I'm worried, however, it's gonna fade. I feel like it's already fading, and it's not like it's in direct or indirect sunlight at all. Oh well!

Nice. Were the speakers already wired when you bought the place? If not, I'd love to know how you did it... I have a Marimekko shower curtain, btw...

Holy crap, is that what not having a child looks like. I had completely forgotten.
The place looks great.

It looks like you leave in a showroom...but in a good way. It also puts my apartment completely to shame.
Question - are these wooden water skiis in your living room? Functional or purely decorative?

First off, your place looks amazing.
Second, I like the choice of pictures on your kitchen counter top.

Mike - Thanks. And funny that you were able to tell that was you, Sara Alex and me in that picture.

Superbee, your pad looks so groovy!
I'm so bummed we never got to meet while we were neighbors. I still want to share a brew at The Abbey with you!

But I'm always down for a drink. Or eight. :)

It is exactly what I pictured you having- hip (can I say that?) and colorful. I like the big-assed print on the wall.
