My last 24 Hours:

10:45 p.m. Freak out about arguing in Federal Court (have been doing this since approximately May 5)

11:00 p.m. Iron.

11:15 Re-wind Family Guy, catch up, finish episode, pass out.

12:30 a.m. Wake up because of those GODDAMN BIRDS singing in the park outside, because the City of Miami Beach installed these awful sodium bulbs, and it's brighter than Jesus' love out there. Take another Excedrin P.M.

6:30 a.m. Jolt awake. Panic.

6:45 a.m. Stare at clock. Panic. Think abour argument.

7:00 a.m. Give up trying to sleep. Get up. Walk around. Go back to bed.

7:15 a.m. Really give up trying to sleep. For real.

7:17 a.m. Shower. Think about argument. Panic.

7:30 a.m. Put on espresso. Write out argument bullet points.

7:45 a.m. Start reciting argument out loud. Get frustrated that it's not coming out right. Panic.

7:50 a.m. Get dressed. Practice Argument. Panic.

8:20 a.m. Practice Argument. Panic.

8:30 a.m. Leave to go watch the Judge in other civil motions. Park. Walk to court. Sweat profusely. Panic. Enter Court. Panic. Smile at security guards. Sweat more.

8:47 a.m. Sit down in Court. Watch Judge be nice to people. Try to breathe... Start to let go and Let God.

9:20 a.m. Be bored. Be interested watching status conference regarding a famous boat accident that took place last October. Panic slightly.

9:50 a.m. Have boss walk into Court.

9:51 a.m. Meet opposing counsel. He's not very nice. Panic slightly.

9:55 a.m. Meet Judicial Clerk. Give names for record. Sit down.

10:00 a.m. Judge walks in. Begins proceeding.

10:03 - 10:20 a.m. Engage in spar and parry with Judge. Kick. Ass!

10:20 - 11:00 a.m. Listen to Judge give seventeen different rulings. Watch Plaintiff get totally nailed when Judge catches him lying to her. Watch Judge play with Plaintiff's Counsel like a cat and mouse. Watch Plaintiff's counsel drop two counts of his complaint against my client.

11:20 a.m. get dismissed.

11:20 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Be at work for rest of day. Booo-ring... fall asleep at lunch. Call Mother re: amazing performance. Regale office with stories of Victory. Get told what a good job I've done by boss.

8:00 p.m. - Present Realize how tired I am. Watch tv. Think about how happy I am that THAT'S overwith for now...
