Despite the controversy that blew up after the Journal-Sentinel's articleabout Coasties, I was never particularly offended at being called a "Coastie," which term was pretty unisex when I went to school... and it was just the counter-part to being a "Sconnie..." I honestly took it as a compliment at the time...
