ON WHY I AM COOLER THAN MOST PEOPLE:

Everyone else is all like, "OMG! I LOVE THAT NEW SONG, PAPER PLANES BY M.I.A. THAT'S ON THE COMMERCIALS FOR PINEAPPLE EXPRESS!"

And all my friends and I are like, "Duh, losers. Kala (the album it's on) has been out since like... a year ago... But it's still a pretty sweet album."

Shiiiit.

The. End.

1Q) Do you have Santogold in Miami?

1A) You totally should because if you don't you will be waaaay ahead of the curve. Album is fucking brilliant. Loved her awhile ago, but recently saw her open for Coldplay and she's amazing. MIA-esque. She's a total Philly girl. She went to highschool with my close friend Sophie and her dad was indicted and ready to bring down the mayor of Philadelphia until he (dad not mayor) had a heart attack and died and that kind of killed the DOJ's case against our last mayor. It's officially called pulling "a White", otherwise known as dying before one testifies.

2) I need your thoughts on the song "electric feel" by MGMT (aka Management). I am 1000% obsessed with this song and album in general.

3) Vampire Weekend. Fantastic album. Do it. Solid. Throughout. Best songs include A-Punk and Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa.

4) I promise I'm coming to Miami soon. Swears. We need drinks together. I feel like you were an underutilized friend during my MIA years and want to overcompensate during my 3 day drunken binges in town.

5) I had to stop blogging but have an excellent reason why. I have a great reason why in 3 years and an AMAZING reason why in 7. We'll discuss hopefully soon, See, #4.

1) I've heard of Santogold. :) I do like her, but there's something about how M.I.A. has that British accent I find slightly more endearing. Nevertheless, I like her style.

2) MGMT's Electric Feel is a good song. You can be obsessed with the song.

3) I saw Vampire Weekend like... three months ago. They were actually really good in concert. Not... AMAZINGLY FUN... but they sounded like they were supposed to. And since they were so new in their success when I saw them, and the crowd was so big, it was endearing to see how surprised they were that people liked them. My favorite song on that album is M79.

4) We didn't hang out enough in law school. I look forward to seeing you.

5) You have me hooked. Can't wait to flush out your cryptic message.
