If this works, it'll be the coolest thing ever.

So, I bought this the other day. And sent it back in, already.

The National Geographic Genographic Project (Thank you to Getting to Maybe for alerting me to the same) is a project whereby the National Geograpic can read our mitochondrial DNA and determine our ancestors' migratory routes from Africa.

It's basically your Geographic Family Tree for the last 60,000 years.

This might be the coolest thing ever.

It totally works. My mom did it in January and has a new found pride in being Ethiopian. It comes back with a cool cd-rom.
