Oh, God, it's more complicated than I thought!

Apparently, my food pyramid was WAYYYY out of Date.

I was essentially endorsing a sony Walkman Cassette Player as current innovative technology.

www.mypyramid.gov is where it's at now. And no, it's not at all LESS COMPLEX, however, it lets you make your own pyramid!

Here's mine. Fatty.

At this point I think it would make more sense to shift from a food pyramid to a food pie. Graphically speaking, it would be a hell of a lot easier to understand than the current Reading Rainbow creation. Also, 2600 calories seems awfully high.

Hope the thumb enjoyed its rest during that 45 minute hiatus.

I think you SHOULD monitor pooping. Franklin would no doubt help you draw up spreadsheets (shits?) to keep data accurate.

Yeah, I agree that 2600/day seems like a bit much. I kind of remember way back from high school health class or something that 2000 a day was considered healthy. No wonder we're so fat as a nation.

Damn, this blog is making me depressed. But aside from that, surely you've been following the controversy about the new pyramid. It's all a product of Big Food. It's not necessarily about what's best for you. Don't believe what the government is telling you to eat.
