I'm a little slow today. I just switched to Sanka. So...have a heart?

Know what's fabulous?

Watching Fox News on Election night tonight. :)

Watching people on Fox News FREAK OUT. Awwwwww. Sowwwwwy! Oh, sure, you kept the Senate... but... we got one of the houses of the legislature.

Finally. Bi-cameral legislature again.

These people are SHITTING BRICKS. And they're WHINING. Oh, they're sooooo unhappy about this. "THEY'RE GOING TO INVESTIGATE EVERYTHING!"

Well... maybe if you guys didn't have so much to hide, it wouldn't be a problem.

Okay. I'm done gloating.

For tonight.

You gloat at everything.

As for me, I am (get this! write it down and circle this date on your calendar!) pleased to see that at least part of congress is Democrat, simply because I think it's necessary to maintain a balance of power. If it were purely up to me (and it should be!) Our government would be Libertarian and 75% of it would just go away. But it's not so I'll settle for a balance of power.

I agree. It was great. Just about every commentator they had was die-hard neo-con Republican, so to see them have to mark up those House wins was stellar. How does it feel Brit Hume and Bill Kristol? Awesome, not awesome? What about the "permanent Republican majority" and Bush's "mandate"? But I couldn't watch Fox except for a few minutes at a time. I went with your boy Anderson Cooper for most of the night.

I'm super busy at work today. I want to respond to all three of you, but I can't right now. I will later on.

I can't believe you were watching Fox news and not Nip/Tuck! We can no longer be friends.

Kidding obvs. Laura, I live in Cali too and have no idea how the Governator got re-elected. He's the most inconsistent politician. However, to help him win this election, he did make it possible for gay couples to file joint tax returns. That is a HUGE move for a Republican.

I'm trying to be optimistic and I think about how I loved Terminator 2 so much more than the original. Of course, it probably had something to do with my psychotic teenage obsession with Eddie Furlong! Remember that, Superbee? THAT was a good time for me!

Yes. And do YOU remember how I brought you back that Eddie Furlong C.D. from Korea?

Weirdest thing - I have DISTINCT MEMORIES of buying that for you. I guess it was only in 1994... but whatever, that's still a long time ago.

You nerd.

Ummm...I still have that CD. It's terribly scratched, but people who see it ALWAYS comment as to where in the hell I got it and then I tell them how wonderful you were to bring it back from Korea for me. All involved are probably lucky that it's scratched. There should be a law against letting boys who are going through puberty record an album!

Ugh. Are you really happy that Dems won whatever it is they won? Does it matter? I just don't get it. Nothing ever really seems to change. Except my taxes go up...no matter what.

Andy, as a homo-sexual, yes. I'm VERY happy they won.

See, there are some social issues that rule MY LIFE on a DAILY BASIS that may change if the Dems are allowed to legislate. See? See why I'm happy?

That way we can move to Newark and I can have your babies.

And Adrienne - I want you to put the CD through a De-Scratchifier machine. I TOTALLY want to hear it at Thanksgiving, while we drive around doing something. Oh, wait. I'll be driving not a Mercedes at Thanksgiving. Sad.

Can Brend and Al loan me one of theirs? :)

Man, I didn't even think about flipping over to Fox to see everyone freaking out. I bet that was great.
