Donate.

I took the night off from being fabulous (in nearly outdated clothes - you can donate to my Clothing fund by sending me personal checks, which I will use to buy new, fabulous clothes...)

to just... "chill" and spend some time by myself, without any scheduling, in my new place. I haven't really had any "me" time over the last three weeks. It's well deserved.

I got to know my new Publix (where I can never go dressed like a slob, because fancy, hot people wander around my "Jetsons Publix") and bought some Groceries. Mostly, I bought lots of wine. And beer. (They sell Chimay in bottles! Who knew?!)

Because I'm an alcoholic, but that's another issue for another time.

Hell, I'm drunk right now, but you'd never know that, would you? No.

Anyhoo -- My point.

I just watched a documentary courtesy of my maudlin documentary tastes on Netflix.

You should rent "Flesh and Blood."

God. It's fucking depressing and fantastically inspirational, and if it doesn't make you open your wallets and donate here to the Toms Family Foundation, well, then you're a cold, heartless person, and there's probably a special place reserved for you in Hell. Seriously.

It's not the bottle of Marlborough Savignon Blanc I have coursing through my veins right now that's motivating this post - it's the spirit (hah!) of altruism.

So - block out a night to want to slit your wrists, Netflix "Flesh and Blood" and watch it. Then go out and do some good. I know you're all lazy bastards anyway. It can't be made any easier. Order a video online. Sit through an hour and 23 minutes of inspirational footage. Click here. and help a differently abled kid go to college.

And don't ever let it be said that I don't have a soft spot under my leathery, unfriendly suit of non-eye-contact armor.
