Funeral Highlights:

Now that Grandma is FINALLY buried (MA has some weird 48-hour cremation moratorium...) the highlights of the funeral were:

1) My father, while eulogizing her, quoting Billy Joel's Piano Man: "She's quick with a joke and a light for your smoke, but there's someplace that she'd rather be."

2) My father's carefully veiled fart-joke, about how his mother always liked to, "Make a really big noise in public," when with her friends.

The trip sucked. Family time = good. Cleaning out her house = gross.

Massachusetts weather: Awful - cold and snowy.

But this morning was a beautiful morning for buryin'. Sunny, clear, and 30 degrees - whoo!
