Deep Thought... that someone probably knows the answer to...
So, Planet Earth? Blue Sea or whatever? They're my favorite TV shows. (Besides, you know, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force... (my god, are the only funny shows I watch and actually enjoy are cartoons...)) I'm addicted.
They make me believe in God.
I was watching the Episode on Caves, becuse caves fascinate me. I like spelunking (with a guide).
So, these people are trekking through caves, filming ridiculous crystal formations, and I was watching their light on the crystals, thinking, "There is a God..." and then I realized that these amazing formations were never meant to ever actually be seen. They were formed, and, if not for human intervention and artificial illumination, would never, ever be seen by... anything. (Except, bats. Sometimes not even Bats.)
And then I had a thought. When we shine lights down there into the caves... what happens to the light energy after it reflects off the cave walls? How does that energy remain in the cave after the light has gone out? Is it as heat, causing a slight updraft of wind that ripples through the cave for the rest of time? Does the light just weakly bounce around, so scattered it's invisible to the human eye, forever?
Where does that light go? Into what form of enery does it morph...into after it's done illuminating stalactites? Because energy never goes away. It just changes form...
So what does that light turn into...?
Right?
